An Introduction A short-legged, rough coated French hound. They make extremely affectionate family pets.
In France they are mainly owned by farmers and country people who often hunt them in packs. Each year there is a National d'Elevage (show) where Fauves from all over the country gather together. Although fairly common in France they are regarded as quite a rare breed in Britain.   Click
My aim is to breed to true French type from the best of original French bloodlines.
